Please join us for our 38th annual banquet in support of conservation and chapter activities in Scott County. It will be held at the Ridges Golf Course in Jordan, MN.
There will be a great meal, lots of auctions, raffles, and games for many items including over 15 great guns. Also, games and fun for our young hunters.
This banquet supports our many activities including opportunities for youth and expanding and enhancing habitat for birds. Come join us and bring your best hunting stories!

Today, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever (PF & QF) are encouraging private landowners and public land managers to help identify innovative strategies to restore quality pollinator habitat in the United States in light of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (USFWS or Service) proposed threatened status of the monarch butterfly under the Endangered Species Act.

“Overall, pheasant hunting this year in Minnesota should be comparable to last year,” says Woodley. “The rooster index this year was 8.8 roosters per 100 miles driven, and in 2023, it was 8.6 roosters per 100 miles driven. The regions that should provide the best hunting opportunities in the state are the Southwest and West-Central, followed by the South-Central region.”

In a life cut short May 9, Stacy Dvorak, 41, of Belle Plaine, impacted wildlife habitat as a driving force for the Scott County Pheasants Forever chapter. But she was perhaps better known for launching and spearheading Charlie’s Hero Hunt, an annual free pheasant hunting and target shooting event held to thank soldiers for their service.
